With a passion for creating pathways of opportunity, she has spent her career helping working-class families and entrepreneurs gain access to knowledge, resources, and networks that support financial stability and upward mobility.
In 2021, Ms. Slater founded the Build The Community network, a platform designed to bring people together around education, skill-building, and collective growth. The initiative focuses on creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals can learn, share resources, and collaborate on solutions that uplift their communities.
